John Corven, President and Chief Bridge Engineer, started Corven Engineering 17 years ago in 2000. John has been designing, inspecting, and rehabilitating prestressed concrete bridges in the United States and Internationally for 38 years. As Chief Bridge Engineer, John is responsible for the technical development of all of the firm’s bridge design, inspection and rating methodologies. His extensive bridge design experience includes the design, construction engineering, and construction review of more than 80 significant bridge structures with a total construction value in excess of $1 billion.
Phil Hartsfield, Vice President, joined Corven Engineering in 2006 as a Partner to lead corporate operations and oversee construction engineering work. Phil has over 33 years of bridge design and construction experience including the design, management, construction engineering and inspection of major complex bridges. Phil has extensive experience in the management and direction of the design and plans preparation of major segmental concrete bridges.
